PATIENCE

Pretty, succulent fruit from genetically altered seeds

Many years, experiments, and patience, to achieve

Graphs, charts, technique, ideas, data and knowledge unfolds

Try and fail, and try again, and wait upon results

Science is discovery, as is man's view of self

Many years, experience, history, and time itself

Will prove to man which methods work, which throw him way off track

Wisdom, knowledge, truth and light, united bring him back

If patience is a virtue, a trait to be admired

Be willing, wait and be transformed, by bright refining fire

There is no rushing to possess a quality worth its while

For haste consumes, but time provides, the growth which man desires
